Porcelain veneers are an instant makeover for teeth that are chipped, crooked or deeply stained. These very thin porcelain shells have a depth of translucency that can perfectly mimic the lustre and transparency of your own tooth enamel. They are an easy and conservative way to completely change the look of your smile.

The dentist will first carefully remove a small portion of your own tooth's enamel and than make impressions that will be used to create your veneers. Within a week or two your porcelain veneers will have been manufactured and will be permanently bonded to your own teeth. Veneers are very durable and are not easily stained. If you follow a good routine of oral hygiene at home, your new teeth should last for about 15 years.
